Prosperity Boost 9 15 22

Author John Maxwell says “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it.
• Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion.
• Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare.
• Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Prosperity Boost 9.1.22

Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that ruin the vineyards—for our vineyards are in blossom. —Song of Solomon 2:15

Lowell Fillmore wrote about the little foxes that ruin the vineyards in the bible verse from Song of Solomon 2:15 in his book, The Prayer Way to Health, Wealth, and Happiness. It was republished in a Unity booklet Truth Be Told.

It’s easy to let negative thoughts shaper our consciousness. One of the things we have absolute dominion over is our consciousness. We came into this world with good things planted in our consciousness – good things like peace, love and joy. And we get to fertilize these good things with our good thoughts and feelings.

Metaphysically the foxes represent the negative thoughts we let run wild in the garden of our consciousness. They tear out the good healthy plants. We can let our negative thoughts leave debris and chaos behind. It is our consciousness and the thoughts we think are our thoughts. The thoughts may have been given to us by someone else or because of some circumstance, but if we keep thinking them it is because we have owned them.

When we have the thought “I don’t have the money to buy this” we can change that thought to “I choose not to spend my money (or credit) that way today.” When we have the thought “I’m not good enough” we can change that thought to “I am a beloved child of God” or “I am created in the image and likeness of God.” If we think “I don’t deserve this good” we can change it to “I am the child of a rich father and I inherit only goodness.”

This week when you catch yourself thinking a negative thought, remember that we get to choose what we think. We get to choose what grows in our consciousness. We came into this world with good things planted in our consciousness and we nurture and fertilize them with positive thoughts.
